Brian Sherwood of Cleveland MS, Joe Austin of Pontotoc MS, Jon Harrison of Memphis TN, & Wesley Graham of Goldsboro NC, make up the band, Joe Austin & The Tallahatchies. Brian & Joe began playing and writing songs together in 2018 after running into each other at a bar that Sherwood was performing in Pontotoc MS. That night led to a studio session where Jon Harrison was asked to play drums & Wesley Graham was an engineer at Sam Phillips recording service. That night led to the beginning of Joe Austin & The Tallahatchies. The band has since released their debut album titled "3711" composed of 12 original songs penned by Austin & Sherwood and one gospel standard. The band is currently playing throughout the Southeast, with plans in the works for a summer & fall tour in 2025.
